The West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists is now in a Partnership with the Florida Baptist Convention. This Partnership began January 1, 2002 and will continue until December 31, 2004.
The purpose of the Partnership is three fold: To lead the lost to Christ, to establish new churches, and to promote the growth and development of existing churches. The involvement of volunteers will be essential in meeting these goals. The members of both conventions are encouraged to become volunteers on mission with God. The Partnership is reciprocal by design with members and churches of each convention taking part in the volunteer service in the partner state as needed and requested. Can your church use volunteers to assist where God is leading? Volunteers can do such things as Construction and Remodeling, VBS, Backyard Bible Clubs, Sports Clinics, Surveys, Prayer Walks, Leadership Training, etc. Request Forms are available from the State Convention office or Terry & Darlene Vaughan: Click here to discover where there are missions opportunities.
