Delton began his ministry with West Virginia Southern Baptists in October of 2008. Delton brings over 30 years of ministry experience as he serves as the State Director of Missions. Having graduated from Hinds Community College, William Carey University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he has served as Pastor, Church Planter, Missions strategist and North American Mission Board missionary. Delton has served in numerous capacities in Southern Baptist Associational ministries, State Convention leadership, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

As State Director of Missions his ministry involves five major areas

The Local churches

As guest speaker, speaking for special services, revivals and conferences

As a consultant, to the ongoing works and ministries of the local church

As a strategist, in missions advance and new works

Associational Missions

As a speaker for associational special events

As a consultant/coach to Directors of Missions

As a strategist in new works and Kingdom growth

Partnership/Volunteer Missions

Coordinating mission partnerships with other state conventions and associations and churches to expand the influence of the Kingdom within West Virginia

Disaster Relief

Providing direction and training to the churches and associational Disaster Relief Teams

Serving as the point person of contact with the North American Mission Board’s National Disaster Relief Team

New Works

Leads the state team of church planter strategists in starting new churches, recruiting and equipping church planters

Delton also works with the state Executive Director and the rest of the WVCSB state ministry team to facilitate other ministries as needed.

He is married to Emily Jean (Jeannie) Beall. Jeannie is involved in ministry through music and leading women’s conferences. They have three children and one grandchild.
